Sir John and Prof Frimpong allegedly fingered in Anas’ Galamsey Fraud 2


Two powerful personalities in the ruling NPP’s government have allegedly been fingered in the yet to be released Anas’ Galamsey Fraud exposé part 2.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Forestry Commission, Lawyer Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie popularly known as Sir John and the Minister of Environment, Science and Technology, Professor Frimpong Boateng have allegedly been caught taking various sums of money to facilitate illegal mining in the exposé.

These two are also part of the bigger team set up by the government of Ghana led by Akufo Addo to get ride of illegal mining activities in the country. The ban on illegal mining was implemented as soon as Akufo Addo took office in 2017.

Already the part1 of the Galamsey Fraud exposed several members of the inter-ministerial committee for illegal mining including the secretary of the committee.

From what we have heard so far, the Galamsey Fraud part 2 focuses on top officials in government and how they are stabbing the president’s initiative at the back.
Already, the chiefs and people of Jacobu, a town in the Amansie West district have accused Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie aka Sir John and Bernard Antwi Boasiako aka Chairman Wontumi of being neck deep in Galamsey activities.

They alleged that these two NPP people have given out a concession of the Aprampram Forest Reserve to a Chinese mining company. They believe that the process is being carried out under the guise of land reclamation.
