Kwabena Bobie Ansah declare an end to smoking after grandmum’s burial


The host of Citizen Show on Accra based Accra 100.5 FM, Kwabena Bobie Ansah has declared an end to years smoking of cigarettes today, 9th June 2019.
According to the veteran journalist, putting an ending to smoking cigarettes is a personal promise he made to his grandmother who was very dear to his heart before she died.

Kwabena Bobie Ansah explained that the journey he starts today to quit smoking does not only honor the promise he made to his grandmother but also it’s a journey for himself which will help him stay focus.
The renowned NDC sympathizer took to his official Facebook page to make the announcement which has garnered a lot of reactions from his followers with everyone praising him for a bold and wise decision.
Kwabena Bobie Ansah posted:
Grandma, I made a promise to you that after your burial I quit SMOKING CIGARETTES and I am starting the journey today; I do this for you and for myself and to stay in focus. Thank you, grandma, you gave me your best. Love ?? you always.

Over the years, there have been rumors that Kwabena Bobie Ansah, the famous journalist is an addicted smoker. His critics claim he is a weed smoker but none of them have ever presented a proof to that.
Kwabena Bobie Ansah, however, has admitted that he smokes; not weed but cigarettes. For him to finally boldly declare his days of smoking is over is a relieve to his many followers considering how they have received the news and we at wish him well.
Before Accra 100.5 FM, Kwabena Bobie Ansah worked with Luv FM and Hello both in the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi before moving to work at Asempa FM in Accra.

He was also an occasional pundit on Accra based Muntie FM where he defended the then president of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, and his policies prior to the 2016 general elections.
