Popular Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson Seems very affected than many other actors and actresses in the Ghanaby Mr Gabby Otchere Darko’s comment he made on being disappionted in the poor nature of Ghanaian movies.
In her latest post on twitter, the actress blamed Ghana’s poor Educational Sytem as the cause of the poor Creative Industry we see today.
According to her, in Secondary schools and Universities, the arts is reserved for people with the lowest grades, this she says reduces it to a less important field.
Lydia Forson seems not to be the only actress perturbed by Mr Otchere Darko’s comment. Although a lot of actresses have blasted Mr Dako’ comments, Gloria sarfo thinks the comment of Mr Darko will serve as a wake up call for the industry.
The problem with our creative industry begins in our educational system, where in secondary schools and universities the arts is reserved for people with the lowest grades, thus automatically reducing it to a less important field.
