Bulldog narrates how Beyoncé’ team ‘chased’ Shatta Wale for the feature


Bulldog, manager to African Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has recently revealed that iconic songstress and actress, Beyoncé personally requested for Shatta Wale to feature on her Lion King OST entitled ‘The gift’
Bulldog disclosed that Shatta Wale was not required to submit a song for consideration by Beyoncé before she agreed to feature him on the album.

He said;
We did not submit any material when the call came. The call came through Fantasy Entertainment and Chris Konney telling us that Beyonce’s team want Shatta Wale on a song.
He further added that;
“After Shatta Wale recorded his version and sent it to Beyonce, she recorded a verse and sent it over for Shatta Wale to add to what he already recorded”
Bulldog also revealed  that Shatta Wale did not actually meet Beyonce physically due to the fact that she had an already assigned  a team taking care of the collaborations.

Bulldog further revealed that the collaboration with Beyoncé was a huge one which proves to be monumental in Shatta Wale’s career. He said the the entire SM empire are immensely excited about the collaboration.
Other African Artistes featured on the album include; Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Tekno and Mr. Eazi.
